The caramel is absolutely beautiful and FINALLY a low boot with a pointy toe!! I was fooled by the photo on a different Frye bootie - it looked lovely in the photo but the leather looked really flat in person. Not these ones! They are rich and burnished and the photo was totally accurate for both pairs (had to exchange a size). They are super comfortable especially with the low heel, and the pointed toe is the perfect pairing... otherwise, a low heel can easily look stubby, but thanks to the toe these are very sleek.

Just to note that I actually had to go down a half size. I'm usually a US 8.5 / EU 39, including in previous Frye leather sneakers, sandals, and another pair of ankle boots. I *never* follow suggestions to size up or down because it always ends up too tight or too loose. But in this one the 8.5 was flopping around on my feet and the 8 was perfect. So it seems this one runs a bit large.

I hope they continue making this for a very long time!
