Beautiful shoes, a bit smaller fitting than usual

These are beautifully crafted shoes. My only warnings, and the reason they don't get 5 stars: they fit smaller than Frye usually fit me (I'm a 6.5, but these fit more like a 6) so I'm finding my toes are a little pinched even though I've the right foot shape for these shoes (known as the Egyptian shape, as opposed to Greek or Peasant shapes), and the top of the zips press painfully against my ankle bones so the placement of these hasn't been carefully thought out. The zip problem might not affect everyone, but my ankles seem fairly normal to me so....

Good cushioning on the heel, strong sole, thick long-lasting leather.
