I had to return my first pair, but did so without issue and the second pair doesn't have the marks on them. I do think that they will "scuff white" spots with wear but they look good and fit well so I will keep them

This is my first pair of Frye boots, and I totally get the hype now. These are gorgeous and I think will last me a lifetime with good care.

Even though I was on the fence, I decided to get the saddle leather instead of banana colour, and I'm very happy I did. The saddle brown is just so classic - though in my opinion the colour is a bit darker in person compared to the photo online. I'm really looking forward for the leather to wear in a bit and get that more textured, slouchy look. Out of the box, they have a more sturdy, thick leather look to them - which I think is just a sign of their good quality - but thought I should note that.

Sizing notes: I wear a size 38 in Birkenstocks and a size 7.5 in most other brands. Apparently I could have gone for either a size 7.5 or 8, but I have wider feet so decided to go with the 8. They fit great. They were a bit tricky to get on the first time, but once on, fit very well. Now every time I go to put them on, they slip on easier and easier every time, so I think they are breaking in well.

These beauties are elegant and functional! They look great with skirt, jean shorts and dress pants. Super comfortable for walking!
